The New pixyit Is Here, and It Costs Half as Much

When my daughter Zoey was 7, she showed me a drawing and explained it: “My biceps. I drew this because I like to work out. My shirt is blue because it’s my favorite color.”
Every time we see it again, the whole family laughs. The drawing is sweet, but hearing her explain it is what makes it ours. That’s why pixyit exists: to save your child’s artwork and the story behind it, so the best part doesn’t get lost.
A few weeks ago, we launched the new pixyit. Starting today, it costs half as much.

Why we rebuilt pixyit
Our first version ran on Wix. It was quick to build, and it did its job: families and partners used it, loved it and kept asking for more. That told us this was worth building properly.
It also got slow, and a lot of work happened by hand behind the scenes. So we rebuilt pixyit from the ground up, made to grow. Families get a faster, fuller experience, and our team does far less manual work.
Those savings are why we can lower the price. We'd rather pass them on to families than keep them.
What families can do with pixyit
Keep the story with the creation. Take a photo of what your child made, then let them tell you about it in their own voice. pixyit turns
the recording into text you can edit. (Here's why the voice matters.)
Everything in one place. Organize creations from home, school, camp or a museum visit in one family gallery. If your child’s school or program uses pixyit, you can claim their pieces from the program’s gallery and keep them with the rest.
Share with the people who love them. Everything is private by default. You choose what to share, and voice recordings are never public.
Let family and friends order gifts. Grandparents, aunts and friends can order keepsakes made from your child's creations.
Watch it do some good. Your child can see what their creations have earned for their piggy bank, and the donation their orders helped make. Kids love seeing it.

How much does pixyit cost now?
An unlimited Family Gallery is now $24 a year, down from $48. If you'd rather pay monthly, it's $3 a month. Both plans include everything. Paying yearly saves you $12.
And to every family who subscribed before our launch: your gallery stays free for life. Thank you for believing in us early.
Every order still gives back
pixyit donates 5% of every order, products and subscriptions alike, to youth nonprofits. When someone orders a keepsake featuring your child's creation, 3% grows their piggy bank.
What's new for schools, museums and programs
The new pixyit gives organizations more room and less work:
Create as many galleries as you need for your community, kept private to your families
Families can claim their child’s pieces into their own family gallery
Showcase selected pieces publicly
Run art contests and challenges whenever you're ready
Track your revenue share on your dashboard
Coming soon: see the donation impact your community's purchases help create
As a strategic partner of the Association of Children’s Museums, we’re proud to help museums keep the creativity going long after a family’s visit.
The Partner Gallery stays at $300 a year per location, and partners can offer their families a special community rate. Planning a co-branded campaign or product collection? We’d love to talk: partners@pixyit.com.
